The shades are made from a self-adhesive, rigid, fire-retardant film with an antistatic treatment that reduces dust attraction. It is UV-stabilised to prevent yellowing and highly resistant to impact and tearing.
The frame is made from 3.25 mm steel wire coated in epoxy resin and painted to match the colour, which protects it against oxidation.
